Brothers and Sisters of Houston Metro FOP Lodge 98,

I wanted to let everyone know how things have been progressing, the Chief has authorized us to start the payroll deductions again to make it much easier on our members as well as our executive board when dealing with the ACH debits at the bank level. Payroll deductions are error proof and are pre-taxed. With payroll deductions your dues with drop to $18 bi-weekly. We have completed our internal audit, we have come along way since January when the the new executive board was sworn in. We have completely update our Constitution and Bylaws, we have also updated the life insurance with AIL. Every member of Lodge 98 will have $2,500 of free life insurance, once the forms come in we will let all members know.

We NOW have challenge coins for Members of Lodge 98, if you have not received yours yet please let us know. If you are at 1900, please come by my office #13117 and I will give you one. We have moved to the Harris County Fraternal Order of Police building located at 3130 North Fwy. Houston, Texas 77009.

Harris County FOP Lodge 39 and the Harris County Deputies Organization have merged together, along with Houston Police Officers Union Lodge 110 and Houston Metro FOP Lodge 98 makes Houston, Harris County the largest arr with FOP members.  TMPA has merged in partnership with the Texas FOP the make Texas #5 in the National FOP rankings. We are working hard to make things better for our members and to be completely transparent.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, we want to make things more Metro PD family friendly and we are looking at having a family day where members can bring their entire family out for fun and fellowship. Please all stay safe and make sure we all go home at the end of your shift.
